I am running for Oregon State House District 52!
I am running to represent Oregonians with a focus on responsible governance, fiscal accountability, and practical solutions rooted in common sense.A top priority of mine is reducing the tax burden on individuals by lowering Oregon’s state income tax for all residents. Families and workers deserve to keep more of what they earn, and state government must learn to operate more efficiently within its means.I strongly support responsible forestry management. Oregon should return to proven practices of sustainable logging and replanting to better utilize our renewable resources and reduce reliance on foreign lumber. Proper forest management—including debris cleanup, undergrowth control, and the careful reinstitution of slash burning—can help reduce the severity of wildfires while improving overall forest health.I will also work to secure reliable funding for road and infrastructure repair across the state. As part of that effort, I support requiring a minimum of three vendors for contractor bids on public projects. Selection should be based on cost, quality of work, and a proven reputation for completing projects on time and to standard.Additionally, I will work against anti-gun legislation, “safe space” mandates, and outright bans on firearms or components that are federally legal for civilian ownership, including those permitted with proper federal documentation. Oregon should also use the federal background check system rather than maintaining a separate state system, reducing redundancy and saving taxpayer dollars.My goal is straightforward: protect individual rights, manage resources responsibly, and ensure taxpayer money is spent wisely. I am not a career politician or a college graduate—I am a working person who believes in personal responsibility, common sense, and a government that respects individual freedom. As long as people are living within the law, they should be free to live their lives without unnecessary government interference.
